Your role as Planning & Logistics Manager

As a Planning & Logistics Manager at Ranpak, your role involves overseeing transportation, warehousing, inbound/outbound storage, and planning-related aspects, including Demand planning, MRP, production planning, and material planning. You report to the Director of Supply Chain and your team consists of 30 FTE.

The main focus of the position is on team development, with an emphasis on addressing planning and analytical challenges while optimizing the physical goods flow. The team is functional, and open to a new leader.

In this dynamic role, you will contribute to ongoing improvement projects within logistics. Over the next year, key areas include optimizing inventory control issues, exploring insourcing opportunities, managing transport tenders, and enhancing parts planning and life cycle management. Furthermore, sharing knowledge with counter parts in the USA and in Czech Republic are important and a part of your weekly agenda.

Your profile

As a Planning & Logistics Manager at Ranpak, you possess a strong affinity for technology, logistics, and automation processes, thriving in a dynamic environment. Your proficiency in communication is complemented by robust analytical skills, allowing you to swiftly decipher and address complex problems. With experience in fast-paced and larger organizations, you are well-equipped to navigate the challenges of our logistics landscape.

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, logistics or engineering;
  • At least ten years of experience as Logistics Manager or other related roles;
  • Experience with developing and coaching teams to improve their capabilities;
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferably;
  • Analytically strong and able to grasp complex processes;
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written. Dutch or German language is a plus;
  • Excellent command of MS Office.
